For safety, security, and ease of operation, Loewen uses laminated sash construction, thick tempered safety glass and smooth tandem rollers. For added security, Loewen builds an anti-panel lift device into every patio door.

Swinging terrace 

o other hinged door can capture as expansive a view as a Loewen Terrace door, thanks to their large glass areas and sturdy all wood construction. They offer two styles to choose from: Traditional and French. Traditional Terrace doors hinge in the middle so that one panel is fixed and the other operates. By contrast, French Terrace doors are hinged on the outside to allow both doors to operate from the middle. Outswing versions of both styles are available as option.

BIFOLD 

Configurable with up to 16 panels spanning a width of 52 feet, the BiFold doors empower our customers to make a resounding statement.

• The Loewen BiFold Doors use the same panels as the Terrace Doors and French Doors, ensuring seamless continuity of aesthetics between product lines.
• We can do system-wide configurations of up to 52 feet with panel heights of around 9 feet.
• Configurations can include a man-door for an alternative entry/exit method.
• Utilizes the same stainless steel European multipoint gear that is used on the swinging doors.
• Offered with a variety of sleek handle styles in corrosion resistant finishes.
• Available in our beautiful vertical-grain Coastal Douglas Fir or alternative wood species.
• Unique to this product, the weight of the door is carried at the head.
• Retractable screens can be integrated, allowing for maximum ventilation and protection from insects.
  

LIFTSLIDE 

• Panels up to 7ft wide or 12ft high for maximum opening.
• Our tested flush track includes integral drainage, creating a seamless transition from exterior to interior.
• Dual, Triple, and Impact glazing is available to accommodate unique customer needs.
• Retractable screens can be integrated, allowing for maximum ventilation and protection from insects.
• Offered in a multitude of configurations to allow for maximum customization; pocketing, stacked, radius and corner units are all available.

Multislide 

• 2¼” thick panel adds superior thermal performance, strength and durability.
• Large panels provide a greater opening than standard sliding patio doors but maintain the same 2¼” panel thickness and sight lines.
• 5 elegant handle style options are available (including a Flush handle) in 8 finishes; 3 of which are PVD.
